Every greyhound deserves to feel safe, loved and completely at home.

But finding that home isn't equally easy for all of them. Black greyhounds are still often overlooked in adoption, where appearance can play a surprisingly big part.

About Galgo Leku

Galgo Leku is a greyhound rescue association in Spain. They take in abandoned greyhounds, get them the veterinary care they need, help them recover, and find them foster and permanent homes.

Foster homes are a huge part of how Galgo Leku works, because they don’t have a traditional shelter of their own. They also help cover ongoing care like food, treatment, identification and sterilisation for the dogs they take in.
